As mentioned in my previous posting, our industry is currently in awards season, where wedding and portrait photographers around the country submit their work to The Master Photography Awards, which is one of the UK’s largest award ceremonies for professional photographers.
Yesterday, I was thrilled to learn that one of my submissions to the competition has been nominated for a major award – namely the David Mathias Portrait Award. I’m no stranger to this category as I have been nominated for this award twice before and won the category outright in 2007, so I’m very pleased to be nominated for it again!
My wife is particularly pleased with my nomination, as she’s had her eye on a ‘gorgeous’ dress and this is a great excuse to go out and buy it, as she will need something nice to wear at the award ceremony in October. I’m wondering if my dinner suit still fits me…
