Its amazing how quickly children grow. When I first photgraphed these two gorgeous children, Benjamin on the left was two and Eleanor on the right was about six months old. Two years later they were back in my studio. How time flies!
Really looking forward to tomorrow. I’ve got a client coming in for a pregnancy portrait shoot… with a contemporary twist!
Finally, I thought I would post up another shot from the newborn shoot I did recently. Hope you like it.

In my 24th October blog, I featured a pregnancy portrait photograph of Dwayne & Katie. Today they were back in my studio with their new addition to their family – the absolutely gorgeous Lily Mae, who arrived in the world about a week ago.
She was a little restless when we first started, but after she had a feed and a nappy change, she settled down and we were able to get some lovely shots. Here are a couple from the sitting.

The main bulk of my work is family portrait photography and baby portraits, but occasionally I’m asked to take some publicity portraits for actors and dancers.
Shown above is Daniel from Clacton who came to my studio today to get some headshots that he urgently needed for a casting. With these sort of photographs, the images must clearly represent what the subject looks like in real life to help casting directors place the actor/dancer in the right part. I decided to portray Daniel in both light and dark moods – so, if he goes for a part that requires someone with a light, happy personality, he would submit the smiling shot, and if he was auditioning for a part that required a darker, moodier character, he would submit the bottom shot.

Well here she is, our new ABC Cover Star – Moira from Harpenden! Moria was one of dozens of fabulous children who entered our great competition where mums and dads have the chance of getting their child on the front cover of a parenting magazine. I’m really pleased that the editor of ABC Magazine chose this shot. Its very different to the other cover shots we have done for the magazine.
ABC magazine hits the streets any day now and is available FREE via local hospitals, doctors’ surgeries, baby clinics, libraries, shops, schools, activity classes, playgroups and selected supermarkets throughout Hertfordshire. Pick up a copy of the magazine to find out how your child could appear on the next issue!
Still on the subject of ABC magazine, shown below is James (9) and Anna (7) who are hoping to appear on the next cover of ABC. I was very pleased how the shoot went and we got some great photographs.
