We are looking for photogenic children to enter into the prestigious  Fujifilm / MPA Portrait Awards. There’s one type of portraiture that I really love doing. I sit someone down, I don’t pose them, I don’t ask them to smile… I just photograph what I see. This is what I did today with 3 year old Millie.  She came in with a great looking hat, so I did a lovely shot of Millie… just being Millie.

This is Daisy(10) who was an absolute delight to photograph. I love this shot. It has a light, fresh delicate feel to it. Thanks must also go to Denise who brought Daisy to the studio and acted as ‘hair stylist’!

Well, the search for the new ABC Cover Star continues. I’m now shooting for the summer issue of ABC Magazine, and here are our first two contenders – Grace (9) and her sister Sophia (6). We originally had this sitting booked for December, but it had to be rescheduled three times, due to the snow!

It was long shoot for the girls as I also did some shots of them with their mum and dad. The girls were really great to work with. Both were very patient and did everything that was asked of them. Their mum & dad were pretty good too!!
