Shown above is Amalie, Lennie and Billy who all came in as part of our fabulous Kodak promotion. The parents of these lovely children could walk away with a cool £1,000.00. Fingers crossed!

Still on the subject of the Kodak awards, all available spaces for this promotion have now been booked. I am however making a list of people who are interested in taking part in the competition – just in case a client who’s already booked pulls out of their shoot. If you would like to be put on the list, give me a call on 01279 843050 now. I can’t guarantee any places will become available, but if they do, I’ll let you know. Spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

As for general availability, I’m near enough booked up until mid August. I was supposed to be taking about 10 days off at the beginning of the month, but due to a high demand for shoots, I will be working on some of these days, but bookings are now being taken for 16th August onwards.

Baby Portraits near Ware

Its been a bumper baby week and here are a couple of shots that I’ve done in the last couple of days.

Firstly we have Ruby. I first photographed her just before Christmas and it was great to see her again. Unfortunately, Ruby was a little bit under the weather, but despite that, I did get some lovely shots of her.

Finally we have 14 month old Elizabeth – don’t you just LOVE her hair? She was very good and loved exploring – and pointing at things in the studio!

A bright happy face for a bright summer’s day! This is Jessica (3). This her second visit to my studio – I first photographed Jessica when she was around 6 months old. During today’s shoot, she sung me a lovely song – her take on ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’. Her version was called ‘Twinkle Twinkle Chocolate Bar’!

Another quick update on my availability. I am now booked up for the first two weeks in July. Spaces in the second part of July are now limited. At the time of writing this, I only have one Saturday slot available in July - namely the 31st. Remember, all sittings are booked on a first come, first served basis.

Here’s the gorgeous Rianna (2) who was in my studio this morning. She was a lovely little girl – who liked to say ‘yes’ to all of the questions I asked her!

Rianna came in as part of our great Kodak Awards promotion - where you could win £1,000.00. Thanks to a recent ad campaign I’m currently running in my local newspapers, there has been quite a lot of interest in this promotion. Subsequently, spaces in July are filling up and I now only have limited space available. I am planning to close this promotion around 7th August - however, if workload permits, I may be able to extend the promotion by one more week. This is George (4). Don’t you just LOVE his hair?! George is one of our entrants into the Kodak Portrait awards – where you could win £1,000.00. I did two set-ups with him, the first was as shown above, where we got some great bright and cheery shots, and the second was the complete opposite – namely a dark and grungy look.

George was fantastic in front of the camera and I think mum will be rewarding him with his favourite treat - gingerbread biscuits!

Had a nice shoot this morning. Pictured above is Elfie (7) and Seth (3). Great kids, they told me that they were both very excited about their upcoming camping holiday.

Just bought a new pink background and I found an excellent subject to use it on. This is Madeline (2) who came in as part of my Kodak Awards promotion, where you get the chance of winning £1,000.00. She was a lovely little girl. We had a great chat about her cats and she told me about all the naughty things they get up to… a bit like my cats then!

Its beautifully warm and sunny outside – and I’m stuck inside catching up with loads of work!

Here are a few shots I’ve done in the last week… Firstly we have Lee (5) who was extremely good during his portrait shoot, and next we have his little brother - 7 month old Alfie. Alfie’s mum was telling me that he is a bit of a serious baby - as he often didn’t smile in photographs, but we got lucky and I caught a lovely smile. Finally, we have a classical style portrait of the beautiful Tasha, who came in with her family for a portrait shoot. It was quite a long session, but very enjoyable and productive.

Back to work after taking a week off and here are a couple of shots from some of the portrait sittings I’ve done this week.

First up is the gorgeous 4 month old Freddie, who came in as part of our Kodak Portrait Awards promotion – where you could win a cool £1,000.00. He was a lovely little boy and very much enjoyed having his photograph taken. Secondly we have a vibrant shot of Jayden (3), who just like Freddie was a joy to photograph.

Just a quick update as to my general availability. May is near enough booked up - apart from a couple of free slots towards the end of the month. As for June, there is still some availability for weekday portrait shoots, but availability on Saturdays is now extremely limited.
